Dr. Malcolm Muhammad
Dr. Malcolm Muhammad is a dedicated advocate for building strong communities and ecosystems. He's on a mission to help people overcome systemic barriers and create economic opportunities through entrepreneurship and business. Currently, Dr. Muhammad serves as the Vice President of Engagement and Outcomes at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) where he is a visionary leader who drives organizational thought leadership and sets the course for impactful performance.
With a PhD in entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville, he studies how community relationships can support and fuel the growth of entrepreneurs. At RICE, he puts his research into action, delving into the unique needs of entrepreneurs, developing strategies to address them effectively, and generating insights towards economic mobility and sustainability. He uses his expertise to unlock the full potential of RICE's community of entrepreneurs and establish an evidence-based framework for scaling Black businesses.
